Frequently Asked Questions

Regular bathing is something we all do. It is the most natural thing in the world, and it is important that – whatever your mobility issue or disability might be – you are able to do it safely. Our customers need to be able to bathe safely to minimise the risk of a fall or other injury so they can keep their physical health and independence as long as possible. The design of your bathroom needs to be safe while in use but also accessible should you need assistance.

Absolutely NOT, we do not class ourselves as a direct sales company, we do not use independent salespersons and surveyors. When you contact us to arrange a visit you will deal with me personally throughout the full design and assessment process, we are then happy to leave a quotation for you to consider. Should you then decide to procced contracts can be agree and signed but not until you are ready and happy with what is being offered. Should you proceed then we aim to start your install within 8 weeks.

A complete and versatile service that is individual and meets our customers needs from a safety point of view, while also considering personal tastes and preferences. Creating a safe bathing environment is very much about how a bathroom is designed and laid out and we really take our time over this, whether it’s fitting a walk-in shower or bath or completely transforming the bathroom into a wet room.

The individual customer is at the heart of every design. I meet them and carry out a free home visit and quotation, with no obligation to buy. I will create drawings and designs, with their input and also taking their budget into account. We also try to future-proof it as much as possible. There is no point fitting something that is only going to have to be replaced in a few years’ time.

As a team, we then use our own tradespeople to carry out the whole installation. We also recycle everything that has come out of the old bathroom, and we conduct electrical tests.

After being in this industry for many years (over 30!!) I have worked with many different companies in the past and the concerns I have always had with National Companies or larger corporations is the lack of personal customer connection.

Having a bathroom refurbishment and making this change later in life can be a very stressful and worrying, as a family run business you will always have direct contact with management and the owners rather than a call centre, we like to create relationships with our customers and there siblings where communication on both sides is easy and relaxed.

On top of this we are always looking at ways to help our customers save money, by keeping our overheads down we can pass this onto our customers. In these challenging financial times, we do not want our customers to compromise on their safety so we will always try to meet budgets and work with them throughout the full process of the design.

One of the top questions I get asked is whether you can have a bathroom that doesn’t look like a mobility bathroom. I always explain to that it can be as modern and stylish as you would like it to be. We have a wide range of walk-in showers, baths and other products, so can offer a great choice. Ultimately, it is down to you to choose the individual items,

As all bathrooms are different shapes and sizes the main objective should always be safe and suitability first, once the design has been agreed then its open to you to choose colours for floors and walls. but we are here to help with every step of the way.

Yes. People feel so much better when they can bathe safely at home. It means they are able to bathe much more regularly, and it lifts the anxiety from their shoulders. Keeping clean brings about a sense of feeling better in yourself. It can also allow you to stay in your own home for longer – and some of our customers have lived in their homes for up to 50 years. Some also have carers and having a safe bathing environment can avert the need to move into residential care. The longer people can stay at home, the better they tend to do mentally and physically.
