How we work
The right plan starts with the right conversation.
Before we recommend anything, we need to understand four things:

Your mobility
How you manage stairs, steps and distances – whether you're walking, using a frame, or wheeling.
Second
Your life
Which rooms your day actually happens in, who else is at home, who helps you now – and what you want to be able to do for yourself once we've finished.
Third
Your home
The whole route, not one room: the front door, the hallways, the stairs, and the parts of the house you can't easily reach any more.
Fourth
The future
We plan around how you're realistically likely to be moving in the future, so the ramp, the doorway and the bathroom all still make sense together.
We can't do this in five minutes on the phone. It takes an in-person visit – over tea and biscuits at your kitchen table – seeing your home and your bathroom, to know what will actually work. Sometimes the answer is an extension or a garage conversion. Just as often it's a ramp, a wider doorway and a better-lit hallway. Either way, you'll get a plan for the whole home – not a quote for the first thing we could sell you.

Ramping & level access
Steps at the entrance are one of the most common barriers to getting in and out of your own home. We install external and internal ramps, step reductions and level thresholds – built to last, and designed to look like they belong.
Door widening
Standard doorways don’t accommodate wheelchairs or walking frames. We widen doorways throughout the home to give you the space you actually need – cleanly finished, with no trace of the work.
Garage conversions
When the stairs put the bedroom or bathroom out of reach, a garage can give them back on the ground floor. We handle the full conversion, from structural work through to decoration.
Extensions
When the existing footprint can’t give you what you need, a single-storey extension creates the space – most often a ground-floor bathroom or bedroom in a two-storey home.
Through-floor lifts
When stairs become the thing that decides where you can go in your own home, a through-floor lift gives the whole house back – with less disruption than you’d expect.
Ceiling track hoists
For moving safely between rooms – bedroom to bathroom, for example – a ceiling track hoist provides support without relying on another person. We install fixed and gantry systems throughout the home.
